EMG Education

EMG Education was co-founded by Professor John Pidgeon (Australian Medal of Honours), Ms. Lan Nguyen (MA, MBA), and Dr. Hung Truong in early 2005. The company was established with a vision to become a leader in the field of education management and education service procurements.

The company strives to deliver outstanding education services to the children and students of all ages by ways of promoting balanced educational perspectives at the same time preserving the national indentity and rich cultural values.

The education management expertise of the company can be found in a wide range of areas, serving the education needs of a variety of ages, to name a few:

  1. Partnering with world class universities such as the Northern Concortium of UK Universities (the NCUK)
  2. A delivery partner (Cambridge International Center) of the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). CIE’s programmes delivered in Vietnam by EMG Education include:
  • Cambridge International Primary Programme
  • Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme/Cambridge Checkpoint
  • Cambridge IGCSE
  • Cambridge A/AS

EMG has formed a strong partnership with local schools (state and private) across Vietnam to form Cambridge International Attached Centres to deliver those mentioned above programmes. Partner schools of EMG Education include leading private and state schools. The partnership with schools is aimed to deliver outstanding educational values to the parents and the students: they can concurrently study the core Vietnamese education syllabi as set out by Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), at the same time learn the framework of various relevant CIE Cambridge programme suitable to their age group.  The extra-curricular is another focus of EMG’s inter-schools activities, whereby students of all age groups learn to share not only how to study but how to play and keep themselves fit and creative. The “campus within campuses”, “school within schools” philosophy is to be enhanced by not only inter-school extra-curricular, but by coordinated management Board who is working closely with various Government organisations to ensure that the Government endowed education principals are adhered and respected in daily practice

EMG is honoured to work with the various local Government education organisations to improve the quality of teaching by participating in teacher training programmes for high school teachers of Hanoi City. In 2007 and 2008 more then 300 teachers (of English subject and other subjects) have been trained by EMG Education.
